During our weekly evangelism time in the mall Martin and I walked up to a dark haired high school student. We were trying a different tactic and skipping the survey that we usually use to bridge into a gospel presentation. Instead, we briefly introduced ourselves and asked if we can ask him a religious question. I asked, “Who do you think Jesus is?” He responded, “He is the Son of God.” With that his curiosity was peaked. For the next ten minutes Martin and I, with all the distractions of the mall, told Laci the good news of Jesus. During the conversation we were asking him different questions to see if he understood. After making sure he did, we asked, “Would you like to start a relationship with Jesus and have Him as your Lord and Savior?” He said yes and we prayed with him right there in the mall! This was very encouraging for us and great for Martin to witness as he is weekly learning to share his faith by going with me. On a family note, I left Dara and the kids May 6th-12th to fly to America for my wonderful sister’s wedding. She married Mr. Landon Clark. It was so nice to be home for a couple of days to be with my family. Landon took us to shoot skeet. Also, Tucker and I went fishing and Dad took us golfing. So many times I have missed different family events. I am very thankful that I could fly home for this one and spend time talking with my family face to face. Being away makes me really appreciate and take advantage of the times we are together. Prayer Requests
