Speak Out is over for this year. 80 students heard the gospel multiple times and 21 made decisions to trust Christ. I want to explain the importance of this camp and maybe light a match in you to travel here next year. Find out more info at staff.speakout.sk Our whole year revolves around Speak Out. This English Camp’s engine is our Slovak student volunteers and Americans who travel here for this month. Our staff trains these two groups how to share their faith for 7 days prior to the first group of campers arriving. The education our volunteers receive must be put into action immediately. I believe the success of Speak Out lies in hours of prayer, daily sharing the gospel with these campers, and loving and living with them for this week. The year revolves around Speak Out because the seeds we plant during these two weeks our staff and volunteer students water for the rest of the year. We start with a party where we invite all 80 campers. At that party we will start making times to meet with the 21 students that trusted Christ to continue to teach them about their new relationship with Christ. We also will try to continue to hang out with all 80 students. Martin, the student that I meet with weekly for discipleship, accepted Christ last year at Speak Out. He then came to the afterparty, met with me weekly for discipleship, and was a key volunteer in loving on the campers this year. It is a beautiful picture that you or someone you know could be apart of next year. On a family note, Dara is due around the end of the month. She is healthy and we are very excited to add another member to our family. Prayer Requests
